As a writer, I know how important it is to write a story using the best point of view. I thought I had that all figured out in Knitting Up a Murder. I wrote in first person, present tense as I felt that had the most immediate feel. Turns out, it would have been better if I’d written in first person, past tense, like I was telling a friend a story.

Now, more than two years later, I’m re-writing Knitting Up a Murder into first person past tense, so it will have the same look and read like all the other books in the Yarn Genie Mystery series. Wished it had occurred to me in 2015 to do that.
