Seems like I’ve been in the car for the entire day, but it was worth it because my Scottie, Beasley, got her hair cut and I got to see my daughters. Beasley shies away from cameras so this is the best picture I could get of her. (She is much cuter in person.) My second mystery novel, “Hooked Into Murder,” is dedicated to Beasley, an old soul who needed a home, who came into my life at a time when I was dealing with cancer. Her stubbornness and quiet determination to get me out of the house several times a day helped with my recovery from daily radiation treatments. Thank you, Beasley.
